It comes down to pedigree. Trae is good, at his pace, will be great, hall of fame caliber career in reach. Luka is going to be an all time great though. It was easy to see by people who weren't blinded by the European kid. He was an MVP of a basketball league with grown men as a 16 year old. I don't care the league, if you are a kid balling out like that, you got the goods. That screams in bright neon letters that he's built for this. This is the same setup with Trubisky and Watson but Trae isn't a bust, his crime is going to be that he just isn't Luka. That energy should be directed to the Hawks front office.
