The juxtaposition of Atticus realizing he was the stranger that came to young George/Montrose's rescue, while Leti convinced Tic's great ancestor to give her the book and her doing so in order for future generations to live .

I get wanting to see Leti move faster, but the image of her walking through the fire, bombs, and destruction slowly was a really powerful image. All while Hippolyta is giving all her strength in order to keep the portal open.

Dope to see Lala from Black Lightning show up, even if he was putting the beats on young Montrose

I get what you're saying, but at the same time I can't really stop looking at her either. She's a supermodel, so she got that weird look/aura to her. I thought the same thing when I saw her in Mad Max Fury Road too

It makes me look at all that's happening regarding police murders and brutality as planned. And that they are literally sacrificing black bodies to achieve their ends in real life.

i semi-agree with this. The show does some things really well but there’s just so many ham fisted agendas that come with it I’m just like Especially knowing that this gay Montrose side story wasn’t in the book. Like of ALL the horrible things that happened in Tulsa, we really gotta focus on a gay kid’s love story?

That episode was mid up until the massacre started. The pacing and dialogue was trash. Last episode was much stronger.
