i wont say there is a hostile agenda here. i will say that it is a show about women, first and foremost. it is written and directed largely by women and homosexuals so they are centering themselves. once i figured that out, i was able to accept the show on its terms. it's a solid show with some great acting and ideas interesting and original enough to keep me watching. i may critique it but i dont hate it. i cant imagine making myself stick around to watch something i feel is terrible or hostile to me.

Lovecraft Country is better. By the end, I think Hunters was actively bad.
Both shows went a bit downhill after the first episodes, though.

Caught up and yea......I have no problem with the character centered episodes but for Christ sakes this is all over the place. Make it all come together and be cohesive. The last episode....what the fukk was that? So is Hippolyta a world jumper? I'm also getting a shyt on all men (especially black men) vibe from this show. I mean George was the one positive and they even went back and kind of shyt on him for stepping on Hippolyta's dream of being a discoverer. I mean I guess I get it b/c its for women at this point so I'll just see how this turns out. I actually like the 9 tails episode. They even used Kurama's name as the fox

Finally caught up, "I Am" was a great episode. It was a bit weird but I liked that Hippolyta was able to not only find closure but strength as well.

It’s sci fi, it doesn’t have to be about any one thing. Think about it like Star Wars, you didn’t spend the rest of the series wondering about The Sand People even though they got fought in the beginning of Episode 3
