tonight's episode is very unique, metaphysical, and poignant even. not sure how i feel about uncle george being resurrected just to passively aggressively blame him for not helping someone develop their own character, but the journey was well worth watching.

But in all seriousness, I understand where Hippolyta was coming from....she was good at math and science, real smart....but she was relegated to being a housewife. George took a lot of that blame, but society kept black folks, especially black women, in a position where that wasn't really a viable option.

Really kicked into gear when Hippolyta went on her space/many worlds/discovery adventure. They made some mention of her love of astronomy in the past, but didn't realize just how smart she was on some Hidden Figures ish

I agree.... George and Montrose's families are really smart characters. They touched on Hippolyta naming that constellation a few episodes ago, and then they showed her doing those calculations. fukked up that she couldn't live out and really follow the thing that she had a passion for.

I wonder if the white chick took Ruby’s body because I’ve never seen ruby wear sun glasses and the white chick does constantly and it looked like she was sun bathing on that fire escape. We’ve seen how much ruby wants to be white so I think she would stay out the sun.
