When he has time to set up? He's actually not bad at that at hitting a set jumper. It was definitely going to be a higher percentage shot then that shyt he was attempting after resetting. It also would've put Dwight in a better position to grab the board.

It was available all game and Pop noticed. A simple crossover and Kobe would act like was faked out of his shoes and leave him wide open to drive toward Pau/Dwight or step out for a shot. He wanted to force Green to make plays and he was successful

i'm really surprised at the lakers' struggles. the real reason they having trouble is their defensive rotations and adjustments are terrible. i don't think d'antoni changes that, but it should be interesting.

This is just hindsight 20/20 shyt though. If he had missed the pullup you'd be saying he should have taken the wide open 3 he had

This actually makes sense, not having Metta shoot one stupid low percentage shot in favor of another stupid low percentage shot. I honestly don't understand why people want Metta shooting at all. If you give Jordan Hill or even Dwight the same looks, I bet they do just about as well. No matter how open he is or what the situation is, it's a shock to everyone when it goes in.
