After I posted that I watched the redband trailer and Prof X says that hes "fukking 90 years old". In the movies his date of birth is 1932, so this movie is happenening in 2022.

Which is weird because I vaguely remember Logan having some sort of vision of the future in Days of Future Past after they stop Mystique from killing Trask where mutant kids are being taught at the X Mansion and thats supposed to be happening in 2023.

Confusing as hell.

Didn't see the red band when I posted that.

Regardless, I wouldn't put too much thought into this making sense time-wise. In the first trailer they said "mutants are gone" and then in this trailer Wolverine says "only 1/4 of it happened, and not like this" in relation to the comic. 2023 obviously ain't enough time to completely erase something like mutants from history.

EDIT:

This is all assuming there isn't time travel fukkery involved, and Prof. X is 90, but not 90 in 2023. Even Wolverine looks old as fukk and again, 2023 ain't time enough for that to happen.
