Carmelo was never that explosive so I doubt he’ll ever be that type of player

But he should really look at curry to get that handle better to combine with his shot

Ironically, he HAS gotten a bit more explosive compared to where he was at this time last year & year before. He’s just never gonna be that kind of athlete just like his dad.

I’m rooting for the kid but man you see some of the top kids in the McDonald’s game the other day…and then see Kiyan and see the gap athletically.

He gotta lock in that weight room and do some plyometrics or something. Young Melo had a good first step and would put cats in the rim nh.

he wasn't blowing by defenders he was getting a step on them

then he settled into operating in a phonebooth working off the triple threat & jab step

he mastered scoring with minimum space
