How did he become your favorite artist anyway? In the NaS thread nikkas was telling their story how esco became their favorite.

Good lol, he never really became my favourite artist, my favourite artist was probably always Pac, but that could change as unfortunately Pac isn't able to make any more music.

But K-Rino became an artist I was a fan of over a decade ago, I heard some of his songs such as Valley Of Decision, fukk Eminem, Ultimate Flow and bunch of other joints. I liked what I heard but I never really delved deeper, probably because the music was harder to hear back then. I think I heard some other joints though down the line which I loved, 1 may have been Holla At Me and I thought that was a relatable dope song. In around 2009 his album Solitary Confinement came out and I loved that, had a lot of great songs and it was a very solid project, after that I checked everything subsequent and prior. The double disc album Annhilation Of The Evil Machine also had numerous great songs and he really went on a run from Solitary Confinement onwards where he was releasing mad albums at an extremely high level. As he started to do this and I delved back he increased higher and higher up my list. Eventually gaining the 3rd spot where is is now on my GOAT list thus far and 1 of my favourites.

The emotional relatablity, songs that really touched you was a part of it, along with the high level MC and lyrical ability and the creativity and conceptuality.

Say what you want about K-Rino, but that K-Rino/DJ Premier album might become a reality.
