So you want blanks filled in right. most of the "build" and/or progression for a lot of present day superheroes occurs after the fact. Right now i'm watching WandaVision. There was more progression for the characters in a couple episodes than anything related to their appearances in the Avengers movies.

people are now talkin like age of utron makes sense. it makes sense because they are going back and filling in the gaps now years later.

Star Wars trilogy. Last movie explained nothing about Palps coming back or the cloning process. Now The Mandalorian is going back and filling in the blanks.

Where's the lie...
Stop.

We saw Wanda’s literal creation. We saw her initial motivation and change of heart. This isn’t comic Wanda and Pietro.

Building up backstory around a major event three movies after her introduction isn’t the same as introducing a new Batman...

oh remember a comic from 1986!It’s like that!...Well maybe....as their introduction

They introduced an established batman. Your comparing apples and oranges.

given that Snyder’s Batman kills people, I’m not entirely sure how the Joker is still alive. Based on everything we’ve seen about him up to B v S, the Joker being alive makes no sense.
According to what I've read he only started killing after the death of robin and got his morals back at the end of BVS which I don't remember

nikkas really in here arguing why Batman shouldn't have thought of offing Superman? :heh: it's a constant theme in the comics for Batman to always have a contingency plan in case Superman is a threat.

How many of those plans involve obtaining kryptonite, hiding it in a building, and hoping Superman 1) doesn’t kill him on sight and 2) throws him into the building where he’s hidden the kryptonite?

the contingency plan aspect only works if it’s not their first meeting and they have a long-standing history. In B v S the stated goal was to kill Superman just in case he might turn evil at some point in the future. If that’s the case he should have led with the kryptonite spear.

He literally keeps kryptonite in his belt :heh:

Superman isn't killing him on sight because Batman is aware he hasn't become evil YET. Being their first meeting doesn't matter, in his mind Superman is a threat and has to be dealt with. If he leads with a kryptonite spear there is no movie.

The title of the movie is Batman VERSUS Superman. If you thought someone trying to kill another was so horrid y'all shouldn't have watched the film.

Or we thought the writer would come up with a better reason for the fight. And we definitely thought the writers could come to a better ending than their mothers sharing the same generic first name. lol

Batman 89 was an established Batman but they still introduced you to his world. They didn’t just gloss over the important events in career.
Honestly, you're being nitpicky. Especially with that Robin shyt. We all know it's Jason, and even if it's not :yeshrug: reactions ain't gonna be all that different.

It's been one movie in what was supposed to be a series. And they already said we're getting the backstory on that.

So Batman thinks Superman is a world ending threat in BvS, but doesn’t lead with his best weapon, because if he does, there’s no movie? That sounds like bad story telling.

in the comics and other media, we accept Batman’s plans working because he and Supes are friends and there’s usually some mind control fukkery afoot. So Batman stalling for time and not leading with the kill shot makes sense. It doesn’t make sense when his stated purposes is to kill him.

There is no better reason for the fight than "he's too powerful and a God amongst men doesn't belong here". "Martha" is about more than a name, y'all have elementary reasoning.

When have you ever seen a character use his most powerful tool from jump street? Try to lead with the spear, Superman will know that shyt from miles away and heat vision the shyt in half. End of fight.

How does BVS go if y'all writing it? Break down your quality plots for why the 2 foremost Justice League members should clash before forming.

No better reason? :mjlol:
Hmm . . . have they ever fought in the comics? What was the reason?
Talk about elementary reasoning.
