It’s sadly kind of the unspoken rule in the entertainment industry that you don’t speak badly about someone unless everybody is speaking badly about them. Look at how many people praised Harvey Weinstein before the truth came out about his character. I’ll bet you a whole lot of people bit their tongue because they knew what he could do to their career. Whedon, himself, was a powerhouse for a short period of time in Hollywood.

This never sat right with me. As far as I know it was for referring to Bays directing as "Nazi"-like but I can guarantee he's used the word "slave" figuratively before.....maybe even literally...
