People like to shyt on Grace but she is really good at this YouTube movie commentator thing.
I prefer her more than Emergency Awesome. She has strong opinions while this guy is all about getting along to maintain access. He never says anything remotely controversial.

I hate mufukkin critics like this.

don't want to lose their access so they don't go hard on shyt like they should. shyt is REALLY prevalent in the entertainment industry too. shyt is so blatant. The only time these cats pile on is if they see most of the other critics pile on a movie, so it's like "it's okay" to shyt on the joint at that point.

I got no dog in this fight, in fact I think Snyder is trash...but lets not forget that the Kingdom Of Heaven theatrical cut is a bad movie...whereas the director's cut has been hailed as a masterpiece. Snyder is not Ridley Scott but still, maybe the director's cut is more of what fanboy's wanted...which is all that matters. None of these comic films are objectively good films, they're all aimed at jerking off fanboys and entertaining enough casual film goers to make as much money as possible.

I'm actually not that surprised now after hearing that 75 percent of of synders cut wasn't even in the film and ayer's stuff was massively cut. WB is probably starving for content for HBO Max and with studios unable to film (significantly) right now this is a easy way to generate content fast.

Little known facts about the DCEU and Zack Snyder's films:

Marvel only greenlit Captain America: Civil War movie after Batman v Superman was announced. The directors admitted it (link). Civil War carried the theme of the rupture of the Avengers up through the snap in Infinity War and the redemption in Endgame.

What less people know is that the original ending to the 2017 Justice League had Darkseid invade Earth with the evil resurrected Superman as his general. The Justice League would lose to the big bald alien and the next film would take place after a time skip and involve time travel by The Flash to save the day. Sound familiar?

I'm not saying that Kevin Feige and dem heard about all of this and stole the storylines from DC, maybe DC stole from Marvel who knows.... But the fact remains that Marvel would not have gone forward with this plan if DC hadn't announced their 'superhero deconstruction' plan first (again, they admitted it), so I would guess that the company and director-producer, Zack Snyder, with more confidence in the plan was the one who originated the plan.

So basically DC was responsible for creating the MCU's most celebrated story arc.

BvS started off strong then the word of mouth killed it's legs. 870 on a 250 mill budget wasn't bad. Should have been an easy billi tho. They def shouldn't have rushed shyt. But suits....

SS made almost 750 mill off a 175 mill budget. That shyt made bank. Cats complain about the villain but even most MCU joints have garbage villains. The ones that don't are the best joints (IW, BP, CAWS). Not a coincidence.

Feige did only sign off on doing civil war cause of BVS but IW/Endgame was already being developed. WB rushed the DCEU cause of the MCU in the first place.


Feige did the same thing (rumor) with Eternals though after hearing that WB greenlit New Gods though
