saw it yesterday...the movie is dope...with a great ending

It had a few Disneyish scenes...but that's to be expected for a borderline kids movie.

For that final scene I just remembered
Blue, the beta Raptor coming out of nowhere in slow motion to attack the Insidious Rex. The scene before that was really intense with the T-Rex looking like it was gonna get killed by Insidious Rex and no one would be able to stop it. so I literally made this face:beli: when it happened but then I couldnt stop laughing at how stupid it was:bryan:

Yeah, that slow motion shot was hella corny, plus they played like mad heroic music (or my mind just imagined it being there because it was so corny.

lol @ Insidious Rex though. That dino wasn't a sith, her name was Indominus Rex.

So what do you guys think for "Jurassic Park V"? They will fast track a sequel but probably won't be out for 3-4 yeas cause Pratt schedule is probably booked crazy. It's going to be interesting how they come up with going back to that psychopathic park again, LOL.

i really enjoyed this brehs.

i can't believe for a while that i considered NOT seeing this in theaters. this franchise defined my childhood. as i've said many times i saw the OG opening day as a kid and it remains my favorite theater experience. I saw the sequels as well. I owned the videogame on sega genesis. I went to the ride at universal studios when it opened and even stunted on all the other kids in the 3rd grade with a water bottle that said "i survived jurassic park" and had a gigantic t-rex head on top :jawalrus:

i gotta say though, this movie has the most product placement of ALL-TIME.. kinda threw me out of the movie..felt like a samsung and mercedes commercial..even starbucks and coca cola were in there.

i loved all the homages/callbacks to the original..from the obvious down to a 2 second flash of Mr Dna at the start.

when the amblin entertainment title screen flashed at the start i was amped.. and when that john williams score came on for the first time :mjcry:

the last 25 min or so was crack.. they really gave the people what they want..word to jalen rose and jacoby. i actually liked all the scenes of the kids and dino fukkery.. the gyroball in the indominous rex mouth was a nice update to the jeep scene.

also happy to see black dude from the intouchables get some american work

7.5/10

Yeah there was "Product Placement' but here it didn't bother me cause the movie is based on a "Theme Park", They just used real products as if "Jurassic World" was real. Now "Transformers 2" had a lot of unnecessary product placement that it felt like a Car Commercial at points, lol.
