The Comedian was good but entirely too long. We get it, you don't have to keep repeating the same pitch over and over. Twice would've been plenty. Solid premise but overly executed, with great performances.

That was a problem in key and peele too.

But I'm willing to give it more time.

I wasn't fukkin with the first episode of Black mirror neither and thought it was garbage. This first episode is better than Black Mirrors first so that counts for something

i don't think I'm missing the point by saying the message and stakes of The Comedian wouldn't have really changed at all if the material was actually reasonably humorous. that part annoyed me. he could have been corny, not just flat unfunny.

also, the end of the 2nd episode felt entirely tacked on like "we need to give this an additional twist."

decent, but not overly impressed so far.
