Phoenix killed it. There is no way this is going to be a one and done thing

Bruce is too young joker is old for them to fight even in a ten year later senario. The movie was 1981 Bruce is about 10-12ish

Even if fast forward to 1989 bruce 19ish and the joker is in his 50's. If Bruce was at least 15-17ish you could of made it work with a mid to late 20's batman

I wouldn't call him sympathetic, but I think the movie is repeatedly and openly providing opportunities for the audience to forgive or excuse his actions

Alot of those people deserved what they got:yeshrug:

His clown co-worker :manny:

The subway scene...:manny:

The talk show host im on the fence about him..:hubie:

I've seen niccaz in the hood die for much much less...so it's not about excusing him

It's on the victim's in certain cases, pushing people to far, then when you get pushed back it might be your Mellon getting push in

That's why you treat people with respect, or keep your mouth shut and keep it moving

But when you keep kicking people while there down, this is what you get....society ignored, disrespected, disregarded arthor flex and gave birth to the joker

I think so. That would explain the bloody footprints, and he seemed to dance after each kill.

And how long are we spoiler tagging things? For every big movie, we have to spoiler tag, as if people can’t exercise common sense, and not go through a film thread once it gets released.

Folks want to discuss the movie openly.
:what:
I think its 3 days...but yea i aint listening to a podcast about a movie i havnt seen yet once its out, same common sense should be applied to message boards

Every other movie seem to have a bedwench in it lately. How the fukk do the Joker get a young fine sister like this. You may call this Monsters Ball Light. Wench's done fell from JD, to Billy Bob to the Joker...a Joker suffering from malnutrition at that. I forgot the preview showed that bedwench at my last movie, so I slipped up going to see this one. I mean these wenches just skipped right over Moe, Larry, and Curly. Then again, they probably didn't. Talking about a laughing stock.

Near the ending, the Joker told his Black female psychiatrist, "You won't understand" or "You wouldn't get it". Then he walked off. Any brother who was of age during the late 80's and early 90's, should easily see this was a White comeback for "It's a Black Thing, You Wouldn't Understand". They also stole the first half of this saying to make it apply to almost anything.

But in reality, we got it, and still getting it. But we don't kill everybody when we do.

Nah c00n, you missed the whole subliminal message. They did the same shyt with that "The Hate We Give" bs. Made it all entertaining and what not, but she went from Wally to the Joker...lol. No she didn't fall in love this time, but he still tapped that ass. As a matter of fact, he was about to take it. But your type is fine with that. I just hope you don't try that in real life.

Movie did not start slow to me. I was instantly disturbed and uncomfortable from the jump. Even the sign scene you see in the trailer made me jump (didnt feel scared but startled me.) The 1st hour was instant classic to me. Then it slowed down and it was ok. But then the final act and ending was classic. Music, camera work was dope. This would be my movie if it had the same vibe as the 1st hour.
