He’s actually spot on. There are no parameters on what offends these people cause EVERYTHING offends them. One minute they could chuckle and the next, after they read some think piece, they’ve had a change of heart. The bolded is actually snobbish on your part. If you can't be funny without being offensive, that doesn't mean that culture has ruined comedy, that just means you're a shytty comedian. I'm not saying dark comedy or offensive humor is terrible but if your comedy is so pigeon-holed into one niché that you feel you can't be funny without it, that just shows you have no range to your comedy. Good comedians are the ones who can be funny even when limited.

All these white male comedians getting upset they can't make fun of other races and gay people freely anymore instead of either ignoring critics or adapting to change is what's really hilarious.

Exactly. There’s a drastic difference between Richards at the Comedy Store and Holcomb. As long as it’s not specifically targeting a person or group of people in a callous manner then it’s all good with me. But I have a twisted sense of humor to begin with. It’s like I’ve said before, nerds always wanted a seat at the cool table and had disdain towards the people who were entrenched there. Now that they’ve taken over the cool table, they’ve become just as, if not more, intolerable as the previous folks at the table

Ledger's Joker was a top 20 all-time performance and better than anything Joaquin has ever done, including his great work in Gladiator and Walk the Line. So to hear all of these people acting like this is on par with Ledger has me mad skeptical.
