I'm like a Russian mobster, drinking distilled vodka
Until I'm under the field with Hoffa, it's real..
Peel the top up like a toupée, mix the water with the soda
Turn the pot up, make a soufflé

The beat is so "fly" like I'm 30,000 feet in a jet, but Jay spittin so grimy on this shyt. It's bragging about the grimy shyt, yet he's remorseful. Like yeah, it's a fly lifestyle but it's emotional havy

It's in the same category as a "It's a Shame" by Kool G Rap

Don't mean to thread jack, but Kool G Rap's lisp had him flowwwwwwin on It's A Shame. nikka was so fly wit it

"This is the end of 'Carlito's Way'....." is the perfect description of this song :wow:

Big tune :wow:

The greatest hip hop has ALWAYS been cinematic. New hip hop aint cinematic. That's the problem.

Shooting expensive videos, hiring models, having artsy camera angles doesn't make your song cinematic. It's the beat, the emotion behind the voice, the aura of it all... that's cinema.

And guess who in modern rap is the most cinematic rapper? :troll:

That "explosion" sound on the beat :ohlawd:

that is exactly what takes the beat to the next level
