Quick thoughts. The episode did a good job putting you into Power Paul's shoes, agitated and feeling ignored. The DA pretending not to know who was only to be familiar with his goals and tell him there was nothing she could do. There were times throughout when I thought just face this man already. I got annoyed on his behalf. He wasn't wrong to want more answers and he was around to see Invincible attack The Pentagon with no consequences. At least his wife was in on it so she died doing what she loved and as far as she witnessed he was beating Invincible. :yeshrug:

I wish I could act surprised about the ending but Invincible youtube is basically just spoilers.
I feel like getting his perspective was a nice touch since we have Mark's angle already. The moment he became Powerplex and putting innocents in danger it was at that point it was :francis:. In ways, he's becoming what he says Mark is. Tbh this was prob the first episode I was fine with Mark because on one hand he stopped his dad, but at the same time thousands died. It's a fukked situation for him at the end of the day.

But man screw Powerplex and his wife :pacspit:. Ok I get the idea to bait Invincible and I get it. Why the fukk do you bring your fukking child as well. They were awful parents. That kid deserved better fukk them.

I am confused about the ending of the episode, but I will let them cook. Does seem interesting tho :ehh:

This is ridiculous :dead:

The book doesn't praise Mark for it at all, every time Mark gets out of line or out of character he gets punished for it :dead:

That's also not the theme of the series whatsoever :dead:

The theme of the series is the same as it's been this whole time, which is that you should be responsible when given great power and consider consequences with every choice you make, the world doesn't revolve around you. :dead:

Are you nikkas real people? :dead:

They just wanted a chance to shyt on the comic :mjlol:

Same shyt people did with the Walking Dead

I agree with you lol

Ppl only overhype it because of the violence

Cecil, Brit, and Donald are more interesting to me than the super hero stuff

Mark is an entitled a$$hole and the book praises him for it because of Kirkmans writing

The themes of the series ends on tyranny is good, actually
Cecil is definitely a step up from Amanda Waller and Nick fury archetypes
