That short scene with Brody made me realize how lacking the other supporting characters are on this show.
Time to bring back Chris Brody the gawd and give him that leading role the audience has been waiting for.

When I saw Brody I was damn near ready to throw the entire series in the bushes

The foundation is solid, but man, the writers just HATE every one of these characters. They've completely destroyed everything that was good about the Carrie character.
Not thrilled they keep going back to the crazy-Carrie angle. Show would be just as good, if not better, without her being batshyt crazy.

this show has always been about crazy carrie... first ep she runs in and takes the ring off, wipes the nut out her p*ssy, and goes to work... later on telling the story of "if you want no commitment, wear a wedding ring"
half the first season was her hiding her illness... and when it was found out, the other half was, is she crazy or is she right
every season she loses her pills or goes crazy.. every season she fukks a suspect into trusting her.. every season it's a "how the fukk are we getting out this situation.... oh wait here's sobered up carrie right in the nick of time to save us.... she was right the whole time"
