First off. IGOR won because it was “different” and Tyler is gay. So I don’t give a fukk about that album either or the Grammy’s. Number 2. That Dreamville album was a clusterfukk and I was excited for it. Too many worthless features. shyt was a mess.

Puts into perspective what Lauryn Hill was able to do 21 years ago. She became the first woman to win 5 or more Grammys in one night. Miseducation became the first Hip Hop album to win Album of the Year (she beat out Madonna in that category). And yeah, Miseducation wasn't just looked at as a Hip Hop album by the Grammys. XXL and The Source viewed the album as Hip Hop as well. It wasn't album that was exactly crossover or one that pandered to Middle America.
