Every time I see The Rhyme King post, I think of this kid from back when I worked at Sam Goody at the mall for a few months like 12 years ago.
The store had closed and the gate was already down. This chubby hispanic guy walked up to the gate and was like "Yo I need to get that Canibus 2000 B.C. CD" and he was sticking a $20 bill through the gate." I told him the store was closed but he was persistent and wouldn't leave and just kept dangling the $20 and telling me and my co-worker he needed the Canibus CD. I walked up to him and took the $20 and just stood there smiling. I was going to give it back but I was just fukking with him.
My gay ass co-worker who was a boss' pet and a key carrier started fussing at me. I gave it back to him. Then dude was like "Yo, I don't appreciate that son. I'm serious. You see a smile on my face dog?"
That incident just crystallized for me how lame a lot of these multisyllable-jocking battle enthusiast "real hip-hop" wannabe clowns are.
