Three episodes in and it feels like the writer's room studied every violent gang event in Britain of the past 20 years and decided to put all of them in this show.
That and Gareth Evans really just took the overall story direction of The Raid 2 and moved it to London.
Nah. No Securitas Depot Robbery, No Hatton Garden Robbery, No Gatwick Airport Robbery. No mention of Russians or Triads. No Burger Bar Boys, No £50m worth of cocaine washing up on the coast line. Or the Various Asian Sex trafficking rings. Or a criminal killing police officer with a grenades. Let alone any 2nd/3rd generation UK Caribbean/Africans gangs.
The serious gunplay is more related to the troubles that happened in Northern and Southern Ireland in the 90's and 00's.
Anything that is connected to reality is the Wallace's, which I'm guessing is loosely based on the Adams family.
