The way they got Dany to the North still bugs the shyt out of me. The timeline was absurd.

C/s. I get that he likely wouldn't have survived until the end, but his death seemed so...anticlimactic. Like they were just checking his death off a list of things that need to happen.

Sucks even more because that's the first time him and Jon have seen each other since season 1

Benjen couldn't go past the Wall so im assuming he was having a "fukk it" moment and decided dying to save Jon was the stand he wanted to take.


Thematically, this entire episode has been about a man's choice of how he dies. So Benjen's decision ties into that
