Just because it didn't happen in the show doesn't mean it won't be shown next season. Everything won't be exactly as the book, so people need to be careful what they reveal. I think its a safe bet to say that if it didn't happen on the show it probably shouldn't be discussed.

Yeah I'm six hundred pages deep in the second book. And a lot of things happens differently. So by the time season three comes out I will be in the same boat

I understand why niccas get mad over the spoiling shyt. Honestly hearing motherfukkas talk about events that ain't even happen yet even if they're not actually spoiling shyt is a spoiler. Saw someone mention the red wedding...I've read everything that has to do with the series but even if I didn't, logically I know what that would be about just from figuring shyt out.

What the book people have to understand is...

Just because an event happens in the HBO Series....not all circumstances surrounding that event are immediately realized or made clear....

For example in Episode 9

But it wasn't until episode 10 that we found out why and who made the order

And it's pretty much exactly what The Blind Man did in this thread. The shows writers purposely didn't show

I know it seems like I'm over using the SPOILER tag now but I'm trying to not hint The Blind Man's spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen the post yet.

I didn't want to answer that other guys question who asked about it cause I myself couldn't figure out if it was written to be a cliffhanger or if we were supposed to know based on Rob's convo w/ Roose Bolton since Robb says "Let the Iron Born go, except for Theon." Theonn only had 15 or so men and they were INSIDE of Winterfell during a siege so it really makes no sense for them to have burned Winterfell when they were going to be freed. So it's really something that could and maybe should have been figured out it was just written very weird.

Yes but if the writers wanted us to know they would have 1) shown it or 2) talked about it. They didn't do either. If it's implied and never shown or talked about - revealing it is a spoiler.

What might be REALLY REALLY OBVIOUS to the book reader isn't so necessarily obvious if your only exposure to the material is what the TV show decides to show you.

It's like over on SOHH when someone revealed as fact that Joffrey and the rest of the kids weren't King Robert's. This was right around the time Ned was visiting the b*stards. To the person who revealed that spoiler (he had read the book) it was pretty obvious why Ned was visiting the b*stards and asking them about their Mom's. So they felt that they weren't spoiling anything.

But to everyone else it was a spoiler. I mean it wasn't for another 2 episodes while reading that book that Ned himself figured it out. Edited to dramatic music and all. It only seems really obvious in the hindsight that reading the book or previously viewing the episode gives you.

I also don't agree w/ people talking about the RW period. The name sounds ominous...and I ended up spoiling myself last summer by reading the wiki on it, smh.
