Why have her go Mad Queen after taking heed to Tyrion? She heard the bells ring and had her go Dark Phoenix. Ionno bro.I don't think they rushed it at all. I had people close to me die before. I saw red for weeks and went mentally to places that were dark. Cersei killed her best friend brehDany wanted to murk Cersei off rip but, was held back by Tyrion who's been a terrible hand so far, and because of that Dany had to see her best friend get her head chopped off + everyone plotting against her + her dragons dying + not being the true heir to the Iron Throne + no one appreciating her saving the Kingdom and sacrificing her entire army for them. Blame Cersei. She pushed her over the edge and kept antagonizing her only to bytch up when shyt got hot

And like last episode that’s the only time he’s mentioned him in seasons. No slow burn. No burning desire when he was traveling with Arya or the brotherhood. Just randomly strolling in winter fell and he decided hey I should kill my older brother. It was just poor execution
But why? To kill a mute, zombie monstrosity that doesn't feel pain? Why would that make him happy? Is it really even revenge to kill the husk of your enemy?
Basically what I'm getting at is there is no thematic resonance to it, and thus the entire sequence felt pointless with zero stakes. It was just an excuse for have Cleganebowl happen with fire and destruction all around them like a Mortal Kombat level. But even just looking at it as pure spectacle revenge fantasy, there was zero build up to it if you look at the Hound and his journey from season 3 onward. Yeah he hates his brother, but when was the last time his ethos was driven by this burning hatred to return to KL and kill his brother? They could have seeded in more fuel the last few seasons to build up to a climatic grudge match. Even one conversation with Arya while on the road to KL could have built some heat and anticipation. But like almost everything else in these shortened seasons, they just treated it like a plot point to check off.
real Gs bend but dont breakShe looked a lil shook this episode when Dany turnt up the temperature![]()
