I put quotes around theory because of how outrageous it sounded after reading it on all the major tv sites that talk about Game of Thrones, and then joked about the possibility. It's literally everywhere so I don't know how you haven't seen anything. This was all because of the Episode 5 trailer and people dissecting Euron's reaction to what he is looking at in the sky. It's just the usual banter/guessing gamenah.. not even close to similar..
The intro showed white tiles, which was supposed to represent the Night Kings army, heading towards Kings Landing, plus Dany vision of Kings Landing covered in snow (now people saying ash), destroyed by what looks like a dragon..them not showing the Night King but his White Walker generals at end of Episode 2.... Plus posters/advertisements of the Night King sitting on the Iron Throne... plenty of valid reasons to theorize why Night King would possibly head there.
NOTHING has shown why this "theory" you just posted would even be in anyones though process outside of someone who read spoilers.

You probably shouldn’t hire show writers who can’t write a show. That doesn’t sound like common sense to me. I know most nikkas in here don’t fukk with The Vampire Diaries or The Magicians but like less than 30% of what was in the books made it to the show. Most times it’s just not enough in a book series to stretch it for a tv series over 5-8 years and some storylines in books don’t translate well to the screen so show writers often have to create plot lines themselves and I liked both shows. If they can do it, why couldn’t D&D? Most the shyt they got wrong was just common sense. How you gonna have the big bad not fight? How you gonna not have the main character kill the character he’s been built up to kill the entire show? How you gonna not give screen time to the villain? How you gonna give screen time to Bran talking about wheelchairs but forget to have Jon say goodbye to Ghost or show Jon actually telling Sansa and Arya about his parents? How you gonna not have the White Walkers wreck havoc across Kings Landing? How you gonna never introduce Howland Reed when he was supposed to come back at some point? You know like when fukking zombies invade his part of the kingdom? God I hope these dudes don’t get Star Wars it this is any reflection of how they’re gonna treat the story at the end.

I just don't understand why they killed off the Night King so quickly with so little description of his motives. Not to mention, no follow up on the babies the Night King was turning. Just sloppy.

Funny how GOT is the massive budget show and it's lost without the source material but I've seen fans of The Magicians, The Expanse, and even The 100 talk about how they go toe to toe with or surpass their book counterparts in quality.

Prior to that he proved to be a good strategist during the battle of black water. But Tyrion ruined himself drinking and whoring . This wasted potential . He’s a Westeros Brandon Jennings. I don’t think he’s spoiling it, iv seen people jumping to this theory all week ever since the promo vid dropped with Euron looking shocked at the sky, whether those people know or not I have no idea, but dude in here is probably telling the truth about not intending to spoil anything, I just assumed it was people reaching like they usually do.
