Out of nowhere, but thinking...what are the chances of the southerners rallying around Gendry now that he's a Baratheon? Even if the people grow to hate Cersei, they *still* might prefer a native son over a foreign invader. Dany legitimizing Gendry was such an obvious ally grab (loved the "girl, bye" look on Sansa's face). It would be almost comical to see Dany lose the throne yet again to someone she literally put in front of her for no real reason.

I remember when Jon Snow was my favorite character on this show, him being noble, brave, and selfless was something to behold in a series like this. I don't know if it's just the non-canon seasons messing with my view, or just seeing his character from another angle but this guy got to be one of the most rash, simple-minded, simps I've seen. Coupled with the incest angle and the Snowman can melt for all I care

A southerner ain't holdin' the north. Dany can let it go or get crushed in her pursuit to power. Nobody in the North is stopping Dany from the Iron Throne...unless she wants the North as well. Hell, the North is happy to help Dany...just not at the expense of their own independence.
Just a personal take; If they had stuck to Euron from the books, nobody would have batted an eye this episode with his actions. THAT Euron is a legitimate threat to everyone, dragon or man.

Here's the thing... if you go back and read this thread while the show was airing in real time there are zero complaints. There were issues with the show but for people to watch it, enjoy it and then read a few others who didn't and then switch up is funny to me
