The way they have dumbed Tyrion down is just shameful
I think it’s due to the fact that Sh!t has gotten too real. Back in season 1, he was on a level playing field so he was able to be clever and out wit most people. Now though...the battlefield has become completely chaotic with no real way for him to maneuver. Just too many things happening at once for him to make clever judgments. I actually like this as he’s become a lot more reflective emotionally. We see that there is some depth to him aside from just sleeping with women and making smart comments.

I agree. Tyrion is GREAT in the viper's nest that is King's Landing, but he's not a wartime counselor.

Realistically the episode was great aside from all the plot holes. I loved all the dialogue. It was good to see the drunk banter between Tyrion and jaimie again. It's been a while since we had that. I'm surprised so many people didn't like the bronn scene. I thought it was a fun reunion. Quick witty jokes. Really felt like old times again. The scheming by Varys and Tyrion. The sansa and hound scene. Dany feeling all alone in winterfell. You could feel her pain and I always hated that bytch. There were a few things that didn't sit right with me but at this point I just have to accept this for the fantasy show it is. Ima let these two episodes play out then drop my final opinion. Maybe they'll come through in the clutch and surprise us allGreat episode

But they better give us Jon Vs Euron next episode. Especially since we didn't get Jon vs the NK. And they BETTER give us that clegane bowl. And the hound better win too. Don't give a fukk if it's a perfect ending to his story. He earned that shyt.
The blown potential is frustrating but whatever.. I'll take the show for what it is now and let the story play out.

He didnt because of Littlefinger not Sansa. If you are one of those that think Littlefinger came to Winterfell at the behest of Sansa instead of his own volition then we can just stop right now. Littlefinger was coming to kill the Boltons whether Sansa asked him for help or not. That was his plan all along, to kill the Boltons.Nah.
