Show has been declining in quality from season to season. That last season....what was that. It's like they got rid of their old writers. Went from intelligent, slow-paced storytelling to mindless Michael Bay action sets.

They've passed where the books are in timeline, so they're kinda winging it along with input from George at this point. The drop off in quality sucks but isn't surprising

I agree and I bet it's the simping that gets Jorah dismissed. Dude is certified and should be within the top 10 of Westerosi champions alive.

Right, people forget that this has changed from an adaptation to Benioff & Weiss telling their own story with only a few major points from George. They have to figure out how to get to those points on their own. Season 5 was terrible except for Hardhome and maybe couple other EPs but it's easily the worst season for me. 6 was a great rebound but they fukked up with Sansa & Jon. It also has my personally greatest ep, Winds of Winter. Season 7 definitely seemed like a damn Bay production and once again shytty writing with Sansa and Arya, not to mention the absolute worst plan of all time going to get a fukking wight.



As far as Jamie and the rankings, we've only seen 2 handed Jamie in 2 fights. Against Ned, where he knew he couldn't kill Ned for political reasons because he isn't the idiot Joffrey was, and Brienne where he was shackled and half starved. I think we have to go off what other characters on the show think of him. Even Euron talked about how much of a beast Jamie was when he led the attack on the Iron Islands.

Fought off the night kings hoards with DAGGERS. Idk if its instant kill or not. Dude blocking sword shots with daggers is impressive.


Jorah is lowkey the HARDEST warrior on the show. Had he been played a bit gruffer like the hound hed prolly get more respect but he might as well be the new barriston selmy. Selmys dead.. Jamies done. The mountain is a zombie we dont know how he fights except against peasants. Bronn is good at a distance but dont have jorahs experience.

Yea jorah is def the best one alive. Has loads more experienc than his next closest contender. Which is funny cuz hes supposed to be honorless cause of ned he literally has more glory than any one man on the show. By far the most experienced sword alive rn.

I excuse his simpiny cuz he puts in so much work and danaris is slamming most beautiful woman in the world of the show.

The only ones who i think could give it to him are the hound, jon snow (and not a straight 1v1 either could snow win imo... ), tormund...

You make a good case. Jorah is probably number two after Jaime.
