My dude.. find out if your landlord got money through the last stimulus package. A lot of landlords are trying to double dip, and take money from the government, AND take money from tenants. Which is illegal. Talk to your lawyer.

That could be it, but the issue is that my landlord is trying to allege that I owe money from a lease that didn't even have my name on it. My Mom used to live in the place that I live now, and I signed a new, completely different agreement back in August that spans the months of Oct-Jan.

In her dumbass mind, the lease that my mother signed, which expired, and my agreement were one in the same, and they weren't. Not to mention she's done some illegal shyt like locking me out my place until I signed a paper promising to pay money from my mother's lease, AND cut my lights off, which the electric company didn't do. Got that shyt on video.

I'll ask my lawyer about that too, but she's on some illegal shyt already, so I wouldn't doubt it if she's pocketing money.
