And another thing I think people are missing here is Skip is a heel

He’s like a heel in Wrestling

He knows this and him getting people that have been critical of him in the past to work with him is by design

He wants that smoke he understands TV. He needs someone across from him that will challenge him but not TOO much

This is why Skip has so much power in this space

This thread is 7 years old, the show has gone viral countless times, get millions of views of YouTube and not to mention the two stars are both huge on social media.

The main demo is the same demo of this site (supposedly :mjpls:)

81 pages (50 posts per page gang :umad:) is on par. Same with First Take.

Does this now dead the narrative and report that people didn't want to work with Skip @Joe Sixpack since you insisted that was the case
Why are you mentioning me?

It was well documented that they had a difficult time finding a replacement hence them being off the air since June.

What is wrong with you?

And you stated that no one wanted to work with Skip and I said that they would if the price is right as TV gigs are hard to come by these especially with people being laid off and this obviously is proving that case. You weren't the only one who stated it. I just remember us having the discussion about it.

They had a time finding the right replacement. Had to be somebody Skip approved of and that wanted to do it. With the batch of people they got I can't really say it wasn't because nobody wanted the job.

I feel like dumping Shannon for the batch of people they have now will be an upgrade. They're going to need more NBA people though.

Especially since Key was at the mercy of ESPN letting him out of his contract and those type of negotiations take time. They also more than likely had to vet the Irvin situation before they even entertained the idea of bringing him in.

Having a group of people is going to push things away from the rival focused Brady, Cowboys, LeBron, Baker stuff of the past where one guy picks a position and the other guy argues against it. They'll probably talk about a more varied amount of subjects now.
