Doubt he even acknowledges his tweets
That's going to be the opening story (Even without a football player fighting for his life, no one cares about meaningless bowl games or Donavan Mitchell's 71). The need for transparency is mandatory.

I expect him to clearly evoke the tone of the 2nd tweet and do some decent damage control towards the 1st

Writing on the wall for the end of Shannon and Skip.

Chemistry been awkward since that moment weeks back. The backlash from that tweet is insane... 100+ million views, 100k comments, 76k quote retweets in 6 hours

So many people coming out against him and it ain't even just people in NFL or cover it. Shan done good to build his own brand don't think he need the show or Skip. It be a bad look if he stayed now.

I can’t believe that people are acting as if today will be the first time that Skip and Shay discuss the tweet like FS1 wouldn’t try and diffuse the attention the night before. If people really are offended by what Skip said, then don‘t tune in to the show today and bring attention to it or the show.

The outrage about Skip’s tweet is disingenuous. The world will be discussing and watching NFL football like nothing happened next week.

Goodell and The Shield have their fans and players trained very well to think they care about player’s health meanwhile they’ll be watching and playing a meaningless extra regular season game next week that the Union agreed upon. A meaningless Week 17 game that will have again add permanent damage dozens of players long term health.

Skip’s only mistake was not waiting to tweet that until Wednesday or Thursday when people stop caring again.

A lot of people don’t fukk with Skip with that, which is why he’s getting more heat for that tweet and the lack of benefit of a doubt.

Man I read the replies to Skip and they really went in on him. I understand why because the only thing that should be on anyone's mind is Damar's life. But sometimes in the back of people's mind, you have questions. For example when Chadwick Boseman passed, we were shocked, prayed for his family. But we also wondered if there would be a Black Panther 2. IMO insensitive would be saying how can they cancel this game when I'm in the fantasy football finals or I bet a lot of money on this game. Insensitive was the NFL not pausing the game immediately after he went into cardiac arrest. I don't think asking a legitimate question is out of bounds. The only thing I can say is keep those thoughts to yourself. Not tweet out for millions to read it.

Most def. Yeah the question in itself is fine. It’s just all about timing. He should have waited a little longer. So it doesn’t come off sincere at all. And I don’t feel bad for him because he literally makes his living off hot takes, so welcome to the other side of the game lol
