Right.
They are "high" in the sense they found a formula (Cowboys, Cowboys, Cowboys) to get to a respectable number for them, but they are still trailing a ton of other shows. If they are content with basically being a Cowboys show at the numbers they are currently at, more power to them. But it doesn't seem sustainable long term IMO

Honestly you can't even get mad at Skip. It's well documented that he has an obsessive-compulsive personality (which seems to be getting worse with age), so if left up to him he would fill an entire show with his obsession of the moment (Cowboys). Just can't help it.
That's why it's up to the higher heads or even Shannon to stand up in prep sessions to force some other topics. But Shannon seems perfectly content going along for the ride.

Knowing damn well the Eagles and Cowboys have damn near the exact same schedule. Eagles were absolutely devastated with injuries and still got he job done. Dallas in week 17 had all these players available: Dak, Zeke, Cooper, Gallup, Austin, Cobb, Pollard, Jarwin, D. Lawrence, S. Lee, J. Smith. Dallas was favored in 15 of 16 games

He then later said he only said that so people would think he wasn't biased but now that sports is more fanatical he felt he could come out and be honest with it.
