I've almost blind-bought this 5-6 times from Barnes and Noble during their Criterion sales........this post may make me finally pick it up lol

Noir is probably my favorite genre too

I think its PTA's greatest achievement and in 100 years be looked at as a top 10; it will age better than any other movie in recent memory

Exactly breh, this movie isn't even my favorite movie. But I was like :wowwow2: when I saw it. I want to read the book it was based on.

The starting scene in LOA is a joke, I know it's from 1962 but c'mon
If it was shorter it would be in the top 5, most likely #2. It could be cut by 30 mins without having any effect on the story or character arch
