I don’t know how I feel about this year yet but I’ma let it cook. I do think it’ll get stronger as it progresses and hopefully July, with the movies you just mentioned, is the turning point. So many auteurs cooking especially in the back-half of the year to where I’m really anticipating them.This summer has turned out to be pretty wack. All the movies have gotten mid to shyt reviews. If Oppenheimer and mission impossible don't deliver I'll be upset.
It's a shame because the spring was kind of fun film wise.

The studios not paying these poor writers has really put a wrench into things though and it’s such a buzzkill. It’s reminding me of the limbo state Hollywood was stuck in during the height of the pandemic all over again.
