That's BS, Blazo is right the feature is over exaggerated, even the most average of players can get the ball under control fairly quickly.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been played in several times and has squandered a chance due to miscontrol. I don't know if you watched this match the other day but look at this touch from Gervinho (very beginning of the video)

You can come back to me with thousands of examples where the ball is controlled perfectly but what I'm saying is sh*t touches DO happen. OFTEN too. Good players and sh*t players. On FIFA 12 and before, bad touches NEVER happened. Ever. I welcome this new sh*t even if it is slightly exagerrated (which I don't think it is). The more realistic the game gets, the better as far as I'm concerned.

someone fukking gets it....:clap::clap: daps all day cuh. same thing with no calls. the refs do NOT call everything in futbol, the game is more realistic if they DONT call every call......

who is this Lord Beasley clown? also, dudes that don't take their game online, dont even bother responding. I play a different game than u, therefore my frustrations are different

my reasons why 12 is better:

-assisted shooting wasn't as easy as it is in this game. I'm playing assisted settings dudes as a manual player and it seems like every other shot they take is a goal. it wasn't as abusive on fifa 12. some shots are going at the speed of a pass, and the keeper will make the latest reaction dive of all time. and either he'll tap it out for an easy rebound, or miss the ball completely

-the first touch system is a nice addition but just like last year's player impact system, it needs MAJOR TWEAKING. cool concept but it's unfinished or exaggerated in a plethora of circumstances. i cant tell u how many times I lead pass a streaking player and his control causes the ball the pop up for no friggin reason, then he has to control it with his thigh or pelvis, and then take yet another touch before taking off. at this point, the defense has already closed whatever gap by at least 7 yards

-the impact engine. i had an issue with it last year because it got exaggerated especially within the 18 yard box and your players literally became rag dolls. flailing their body at the slightest of touches like they've been shot down with a 50 cal rifle. shyt was disgusting. now it was returned in 13, yet only it doesn't take you to be in the 18 yard box to get your players to react this way. not only that, but there are plays where i get COMPLETELY BODIED by a defender, and the ref is like :yeshrug:

:wtf:

nikka, BLOW THE fukkIN WHISTLE!

with that being said, there are alotta additions I like

-more formations
-players holding their runs so they arent caught offside

thats about it from last year to this year tho :manny:

also, to the nikka that claimed I'm a Messi/Ronaldo abuser, dont disrespect me like that :birdman:. i play with the likes of Spartak Moscow, BVB, and fukkin Sunderland
First off, i play FUT, Seasons, Clubs and Drop in more than career so you dont play a different game than u....

skipping to the relevant shyt

assisted shooting: wrong. goalies actually react better than they did last year to every shot (including slow rollers) last year it was easy as fk to finesse a computer goalie from outside the box cuz they couldn't read the shot for whatever reason. also, if ur getting beat in 1on1 situations all the damn time, u dont know when to mash Y and charge your goalie.

first touch: wrong. cuz like homie said, even the best players have bad touches occasionally, shyttier players have more bad touches. the ball isnt popping up for no reason, the first touch system takes into account how hard/soft and accurate/inaccurate the pass was and determines what it should do when it touches the foot of a player receiving it. please go watch a match and count how many bad touches there are.

impact engine: i agree, it was trash last year (FUS RO DAH). they improved it. strikers getting bodied by big ass defenders happens, no calls happen. i've seen no calls, bad calls, good calls in the game. that's realism, that's futbol..... the refs dont catch everything and sometimes they just call a foul because u looked at them wrong.....

im gonna ignore the comment about using Borussia Dortmund, Spartak and Sunderland. i really dont care either way.

i've been playing FIFA games since genesis so please miss me with the bs, you arent really telling me anything :stopitslime:

i agree with what u said was better this year tho....

I'm pretty sure that the calls I'm talking about would have been called when you have a dude in the box getting pulling and squeezed by two people that ultimately wind up with you getting tripped or taken to the ground somehow.

I figure the Impact engine is influenced by Madden, because I adjust my play to avoid the foolishness of Messi throwing John Terry into ground from light contact. :childplease:

I don't have a problem getting manual games on season mode on the PS3.
Playing manual vs assisted 6 minutes half is a lose lose situation regardless if it's FIFA12/13.

Played a few games offline this weekend, finally had an online match today.
Arsenal vs Valencia CF, I had Valencia. 4-4 tie. Goals seem to be easier to score on slow shots from outside the box to me.
I LOVE the first touch controls though, and the improvements on how your players take their runs to stay onside.

I play assisted. I'll play manual when I'm beating the CPU consistently on World Class. Right now it's :fight: on Professional. Smh.

Pass the ball around when you have possession. Dont always try to skill your way to the goal, have some sort of plan to attack and score.

Only rules you really need to know is offsides. You don't want to lead one of your players too far up because they'll call offsides and you will lose possession. You also don't want to slide into someone from behind because that is likely to get your play ejected and you will be stuck 10 vs 11 for the rest of the game. I wouldn't attempt to slide at all in the box. I don't like sliding at all honestly.

Alright, don't kill me but I have a question. Should I get PES or Fifa? I don't ever play online and would only ever play as a manager or whatever the be a pro mode is in either game. Quite a few people at operation sports say PES plays more like real soccer while FIFA plays like ice hockey on a field. They also say that teams in FIFA all feel the same while in PES they you can tell differences. So back to my question should I get PES or Fifa?

Thanks!

just a correction here, you can lead a player up as far as you want to, provided they aren't past the last defender. that's where the imaginary line is......sometimes the ref calls borderline offsides that can go either way....i've seen the ref even call offsides when the player is no where near that line. thats futbol
