Edit: The whole thing got thrown off track because that bytch DafeetLee used Spookys name when no on even brought him up. It looked like this all got started with that bytch TO Min and Lee threw everythibg out of whack.

Still is. Here it from Twitter though and NYC this man a whole legend. Super OG.
From what I recall he was a decent cvs2 player.
But kicking and muting nikkas off discord servers when they just asking questions about shyt is bytchmade to me. They had screenshots of how he was acting, and that shyt got hand waved off as being direct and no nonsense TOing. If he an OG he should remember the days of getting lightly chin checked cuz of nikkas tone.

Nah, cant agree. They can allow whoever they want from wherever they want, but of course they do it with the internet connection quality in mind. This is (or was) an independent tournament and they set the rules. If they do not want Texas in because of lag issues but only let certain people in, too bad. If they said no one from California but let someone in Alaska play, oh well. Here is a response by Spooky:
Statement Re: NLBC Online
Hello All! Thank you for supporting 108 Weeks of Next Level Battle Circuit Online Edition.
As of today, I will be discontinuing my series of weekly online events. Of course @goldencen / @nycfurby will be trying their best to return players to offline events, so please support Next Level, which was my original intent with this series.
Now, I will make some statements of fact before I continue.
NLBC Online is not a part of any official league or tour.
We have/had the final say on who is allowed in the tournament, regardless of region! We can choose to not let you in for any variety of reasons, including making our life harder / more annoying / pissing us off. (In the same way, you don't have to like it.)
We chose to include players if we think they could add to the hype. (You don't have to like it but it's our choice)
Generally the idea was to default to the best possible connection experience, so poor experiences from far away regions had to be mitigated.
I will respond to some people directly, since we have met or may have met irl before.
@8wayf apologies for your poor experience with the double DQ
@bluehek don't know you but I will default to "We can choose to not let you in for any variety of reasons, including making our life harder / more annoying / pissing us off." Having your friends brigade us was not cool and def made things more annoying for me.
@Wolfgang I feel like your expectations for a DQ were pretty unrealistic. Wouldn't you love a grace period if you had to use the bathroom or something? I know homie was on ranked warming up but come on.
Texas Region: Apologies for your experience. No one likes a laggy tournament.
Apologies to anyone that had an abrasive experience from me or the staff.
As for me, I am pretty tired. I stretched myself quite thin for these events, including doing things I had no common sense doing ($1 crowdfund per sub? What was I an idiot?) and I am put into a spot where the best thing to do is move on.
I will be doing much more of my casual streams as well as working closer with Tenomedia on some future events and doing more of the things I want to do. I see a general pessimism to the idea that I can just have fun and do casual streams ala Max/Aris, but I'm going to do what I like to do now.
Also from Twitch (click the ghost, you will be sent to the video):
This was the straw that broke the camel's back. He and a few others have been running multiple tournaments every week for over a year, dealing with that stress, dealing with people whining about lag and not being able to play, etc..... . Then to have people that believe they are entitled to play in a tournament and get their feelings hurt when they are told no. They do not like how some TO's spoke to them? Oh well. Not everyone in life is going to speak to you nice or explain why they are doing the things that they do.
All they had to do was accept it and participate in a tournament either local or nearby, but they had to act like children.
Spooky was just looking for a way out lets not demonize the breh that brought this up it was a legit question. Brian F can play in nlbc, lives 10 minutes from the breh. But he cant?
This is a big reason why I stepped away from the fgc out of my state a while ago, TOs, top players, most people in the fgc honestly are supremmeeellyyy bytch made and emotional over the most silly shyt. And also disrespectful asf to people they think they can bully which is ironic cuz most them cats were getting stuffed in lockers and shyt as jitts. People are just going to take spooky side because he has the voice and the clout but the initial breh was neither disrespectful or asked some ridiculous question. These TOs and players just have huge egos.

This nikka bum apparently had a whole discussion over a 30 second clip from Damascus calling his shyt a party and you think all these dudes aint soft with huge egos. nikka called his shyt G-evo but the euro called it a party now its a problem
