Man this is why I'm against the "save every big moment for Mania" mentality. Yes they can run it back there and have Kofi win, but it's going to get lost in the shuffle of the event and not even close the show. Kofi winning here would have gotten the pop of the decade and made this EC one to truly remember.

Yep. Sometimes, you just need to roll with what you hear and pull the trigger right then. Even though Bryan has had a recent character change, including changing the belt, Bryan would not have at all been dealt a blow by losing tonight. Now if there is a potential Kofi/Bryan Mania match (which I highly doubt anyway), we'd be relying on the WWE to build it, and we all know the WWE is brutal at building lengthy feuds, and the best stuff is things they accidentally fall into without their control (like Ali being injured and the crowd rallying behind Kofi)

It's amazing that Impact, ROH, MLW and LU see the value in having a black champ but WWE just won't pull the trigger unless he's half-Samoan and has charisma out the ass.

First the shows are too long, now they’re too short. Y’all bytch about everything.

Right... If every PPV had 10-12 matches, them shyts would drag on forever, and all it would do is give more way for the show to have a bunch of unneeded shyt in it... I don't need to start seeing stuff like Jinder Mahal vs Apollo Crews on a PPV, that's the shyt they use to suck time up on Raw. Every PPV doesnt need to be 4 hrs, just like Mania doesnt need to be 5 hours. But if any show should be long and have lots of matches, it should only be something like Mania or SummerSlam... doesnt need to be every month.

One of various reasons why I don't dedicate much time to the WWE anymore. If you're black, you have to check off a laundry list of attributes to hold the title, and/or be broken down and built back up with the WWE coat of paint (Booker T is the biggest example of this. He had too much "WCW stench" on him when he should've beat HHH at WM 19, but as King Booker 3 years later, they didn't mind him being SD's WHC). If you're white, you just have to be able to breathe.

I definitely teared up at the end of the match, but considering WWE's history I have zero expectation they'll capitalize on this momentum.

They didn't do anything with Dolph when he was massively over after Survivor Series 2014 because he was only there to fill in for Roman. They won't do anything with Kofi after tonight because he was only there to fill in for Ali.

They'll give him a verbal pat on the back on commentary on Tuesday and then it's back to throwing pancakes into the crowd and feuding with The Usos for the 950th time.

-Crowd was molten for kofi. He has to win at mania. Has to. Any other outcome is bullshyt.

-Rush has been doing good work as Lashley's mouthpiece. Breaking them up is dumb as hell.
