The idea is that nostalgia will carry it until more original content is released and so far they are right but it's only been ten days.. I'm happy with it, how happy will I be in a few months who knows, but I bought the 3-year deal anyway so I don't gotta worry about price hikes and it's like 3 bucks a month with that

They were transparent with what was coming with this launch. I don't know maybe its because I pay for like 5 services and use this more than those lately so I'm getting my bang for my buck.

Netflix started in 1997 and roughly started online shyt in 2001

I don’t think even they had original content till like 2013 with House of Cards

Don't Disney got more money to throw though? and they been talking about getting in the streaming biz for a good while before they made their debut. They couldn't whip up a few more shows for their launch?

Yes they got money.... I guess other than the 13 OC shows they got now..... they probably didn’t want pay someone already contractually obligated other projects to be like

“hey stop what you’re doing now and for work us. Also, in addition this big bag we giving you, please give this other big bag to your studio you’re breaching you’re agreement with so they can’t be compensated for their wasted time with you and have to delay until they get your replacement”

Disney should've came out with 10 original shows right off the rip. That's not counting the ones that they actually did release that I don't care about though

Money alone doesn't just make shyt happen fast. Makes it happen for sure, but can't just expedite everything. And for good reason, it'd be best to have stuff out when it's ready rather than rush it. Ironically stated, I know, considering one could make said same argument that w/o more original content, D+ wasn't ready yet. But it is what it is.

Are you seriously comparing Netflix’s start up money to Disney’s??Netflix to this day doesn’t have as much money as Disney does now. Why not wait and launch with several series instead of 1 and a bunch of old shyt nobody really wants to see?
