So much for all those claims of “cancelling” Disney+ subscriptions on Twitter. The Walt Disney Company announced today that the premium subscription service, Disney+, has now surpassed 100 million global paid subscribers.
The milestone for the service comes just 16 months after its launch. Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Chapek announced the news during a company Annual Meeting of Shareholders earlier today. For comparison, Netflix has just over 203 million paid subscribers as Q4 2020.
