It didn’t really hit me too deep cuz they didn’t really make Cranston’s character that empathetic but

Even the death of the elephant didn’t hit me deep either. Enjoyable movie, was nice to see them finally get to be “free” at the end, but was missing some stronger emotional plot devices IMO. I think maybe it almost came to me atleast like Ivan was growing to resent Cranston’s character so there wasn’t a huge bond being conflicted with when Cranston finally set the animals free.
