So I'm thinking with this thing out, what's the point of the Disney Channel? They can run all their shows and content thru here and just throw the channel in the bushes.

Yep. Plus it’s different lanes. Disney channel is geared towards kids. Disney plus is geared toward adults, both fans of Star Wars, marvel, Pixar etc, and nostalgic adults looking to watch shows and movies from their childhoods.

Just because a movie is there, doesn’t mean it’s available to watch now. Some of them are listed, but when you click on it, it says “coming in (insert date)”

It was part of a Disney feature called Melody Time. They used to show it a lot back in the day on the Disney Channel. It’s an animated short.

Otherwise I'm happy with it so far. I just watched episode 3 of The Mandalorian which was piff and I got a nice watchlist going for the holidays. Everyone gotta chill lol

Disney channel allows the kids to find a new show to tune into and then subscribe to Disney plus to watch that new show.
Disney Channel is a free alternative if their parents don't want to pay.

Free if they weren't paying for cable. But yeah somebody replied to be saying it was good to have the channel for ad revenue, which really can't be done on disney+. As well as being used to promote their movies, theme parks, and merchandise.

but it’s Disney +, Hulu and shytty ass ESPN plus. fukking Fakkits charged me 13 bucks for that and 7 bucks which I signed up before the bundle after my trial was over Disney + alone. Not sure if that’s on me or not but still

There is really nothing on it for me personally. I don't care about revisiting their tv shows..I enjoyed Thats So Raven when it was out, dont care about watching it 10-12 years later.

I think I will watch Spiderman or Xmen
