any of yall read the books? the show follows them loosely kinda like the walking dead does in terms of some of the plots. but deb already knew who dexter really was early on and the whole shyt was pretty interesting, kept my interest.

I heard the books started adding in supernatural stuff but the show decided to go it's own way at that point.

yeah kinda, i can't say it was a truly supernatural element as much as it was dexter thinking that was the case to justify his craziness(basically i think it was all in his head) but it kinda shifted away from that later in the other books.

Surprised we can't get a SCR that comes out early like it used to for Spartacus for Season 1 and 2....can't wait to see the opening of the season.

Marvel has a Dexter comic book...haven't peeped one issue yet though.

From everything I'm reading from critics, apparently the first few episodes of the new season are a dramatic upgrade from last season.
