i stopped watching early in season 5. Is there any reason to go back and watch those 2 seasons or is the show basically finished.

Not gonna lie... the first 6 episodes of the last season with Mos Def was set up beautifully.... it was the last 6 episodes that made the season questionable but at least it ended on a good note.

Nah, they got signed on for 2 more seasons, so this is gonna be stretched out until season 8. I assume:

Season 7: Dex/Deb fallout from Doomsday Killer's death, Dex Deals with intern, Dex deals with new season long villain

Season 8: the Final season, everyone finds out about Dex's past and know he's the true Bay Harbor Butcher, Deb is the one that kills Dex then share a tender kiss, Dex in heaven chillin with his mom, Debra gets promoted to Captain and becomes Cody and Astor's guardians... the end.

That guest star is the degenarate on that HBO show Luck that got cancelled cuz those horses died. He's a good actor.

If Deb wouldnt have found out at the end of last season idk if I'd be able to watch this anymore, the last 2 seasons have been bad.

Breh Doomsday Travis caused more trouble and exposed Dexter to Deb by himself than Jordan Chase and his crew did all season.... why was Jordan Chase allowed to be a villain brehs?

Who else thinks that they will explain away Deb seeing Dexter with some bullshyt? I dont think he'll sit there and tell his whole story to her. He always has lies and misdirections on deck. The show is notorious for having him get out of situations in unrealistic ways.
