when you run the vog again this week are you going to do it on hard mode? and does this have any effect on the rewards?
im trying to get to level 30 before iron crucible... the crew i completed it with started off with three 26s, and three 28's including myself... and we got it done... now were all pretty much 28s... we have one week link this 35 year old guy who someone weaseled his way in but hes competent enough...
i just need that raid gear tho

Did the Weekly NIghtfall last night and got the exotic chest armor I already have for my character. Of all the exotics it could have dropped, had to be the one I already have? 
On a brighter side of all things Destiny, I got a purple engram during the same mission that actually turned into a purple rocket launcher

My friend and regular fireteam member is on his 3rd exotic bounty, I haven't even sniffed one yet. He also got an exotic auto rifle in crucible. I can't even catch a purple in there.
shyt is so damn random, but the game literally gives me fukk all. Everything I got, with exception to a purple rocket launcher was either bought or earned thru leveling up the factions. Crucible, Strikes, Drops, Bounties, even the damn Cryptarch packages has given me nothing.
Yea I soloed it. Does that make a difference?
I know you get better rewards on hard mode but I don't think my group wants to run hard mode until we're all leven 30

no, I dont think so... only thing is I've noticed then when ur in a full group for the dailies u can find more chests like in patrol mode... some of had insignias and ships for me.
Galahad might be the best option overaall... I have the painted auto ur talking about... its name is slipping me... but as i remember it is better in stats but only has 21 bullets....
hushwind will always come out on top if the fight is short... but in longer fights where both people miss...it wont hold up.
