:what:

I'm saying they could have had a cap for the sake of people going through it the first time. Isn't this the first Raid where the Raid Gear wasn't the way to get the highest level??? So yes, it's a Bungie problem because they switched things up to the point where people were OP for their first play through.

The previous Raids took much longer and keeping up with the groups who got it done first was much more of an 'event'. They killed that by letting the dudes who OD on this shyt do exactly that.
I don't really see the issue. Brehs od and beat the raid on normal still gotta beat that shyt on hard mode when it drops. Sure you can get 385 right now but don't believe the hype of brehs saying they easily hit it. You have to grrrrinnnnddd to max level

I know they were grinding. I'm just saying, why not just leave it how it was for the first week of the Raid? Just killed the excitement for seeing people go through it first. It was just like... ehhh you're 20 levels higher than the recommended level to do this.

This ain't like a day 1 release of a new game man...

Then stop fronting. How you gonna be mad that they grind hard - when you're a part of the same extremely small section of the community that is even *aware* of the grind possibilities and capable of raiding in the first place.

Either don't watch and do you with people that play the same pace OR grind hard like the literal pros to be a part of the process. I'd get your complain if you were talking Trials or something, but that's MAYBE on 30th. Its looking like it'll be delayed.

I think you tripping a little tbh man....

I'm not mad at anybody grinding, it's just lame that Bungie had 3 Raids prior to this with the Raid Gear being the pinnacle and main way to get the highest level, and them dropping this and allowing people do be damn near 30 levels over the required level to do the Raid. People always grind. They would have grinded to be ready for this one if it were like the other Raids were. I don't see their logic with the change is all I'm saying.

Incorrect :francis:

I hit 335 without Raiding once. Hit max before TTK without PvE too.

Someone grinding their ass off has no impact on your enjoyment
. If you were talking about Trials, you'd have a leg to stand on but as is I think you're tripping.

Go out and grind or stop hating man :russ:

I don't think they meant for the raid gear to be the gateway to highest light this time around. That was known when they went with everyone can a unique look model. Looks like the raid weapons and possibly armor too have unique perks that only will be found on them and that'll be their lure.

I could be wrong breh but I don't think light level means much past a certain point anyway. I think they cap how much stronger you can be over enemies. Probably like iron banner

In fairness, prior to the last TTK update (the one which introduced CoE) the only way to max out in Destiny was with the hard raid (Primary, Helmet, Class Item). They made levelling up way too easy now which I can't believe I'm saying as I hated the grind but now understand it's purpose. Majority of players grinded up to 370+ already will be crying next week about lack of content.

As an aside, this Supremacy mode's surprisingly dope :ehh:

Honestly this is probably Destiny's most technical raid yet, and this is coming from a guy who thought they couldn't too the technicalities of Kings Fall. Destiny is in great hands with Lake Smith at the helm.

Edit: nevermind cooled down off my high. Raid probably isn't as technical as Kings Fall but the balance between killing and technical shyt and timing is just great. It's just really at the perfect levels of puzzles where if you just think about it for a few minutes you'll get it and enemies are strong enough to test your survivability.
