You need two of the same class for hard mode and then one of the same class without artifact whenever you get a 320 armor piece equip it on the one without artifact simple shyt

techinically theres a guy at 320...cause he took all his 320 and guns armor and put it on a new character....he basically didnt opt to get a artifact...his cryptarch is at 0
when you get a artifact it drops your light level....cause light level is based on averages....
when you first start TTK you dont have an artifact
with all that said...trying to be 320 is some next level try hard unnecessary shyt...that give you no advantage...other than to just have a 320 character

Actually it doesn't. 320 only has an advantage over 310 and under and most people like me are 317. Not to mention that 320 artifacts are coming in a week or 2 . I also believe losing 71 int or dis for trials hurts more than losing 2 light levels. Trials lol you should be able to win regardless of level. Skill>everythingEvery point count breh

People are saying they didn't do the artifact quest almost hit 320 then they got a artifact from a engram and they dropped like 20 levels. So there you have it.. not only can't you unlock the quest. You can't random any engrams.
