Looking at this site, you nikkas really think it would have been to hard to incorporate something like this in game?

You would think that since this is how they want you to play the game, I wouldn't have to log into the internet to set some shyt up. I know you so called experts like act like everything is perfect in this game.

For a game that claims to be about the massive online community, the actual social aspects are piss poor.

The one and only time I've tried a raid (vault of glass) I tried to play alone, didn't work out so I went to the tower to meet people, so after a rediculous amount of time waiting for five other players, they ended up being wack anyways, with two people dropping out 20 minutes in.

I gave up, I spent more time waiting for other players than I did actually playing the game.

I'd have much rather have been thrown into a raid with randoms and got frustrated that way.
:heh:

What Light Level are you man? I see I have you on my list, when I go through the Raid again with my boys (they haven't done it either) I'll invite you. I was in your same boat until I just started adding people who I ran into via other people.

This all sounds like bad game design.
They design the game to be played a certain way but left it up to the gamers to arrange this shyt on their own.
naw, not really

example. some of the best experiences to be had in madden and 2k were in the online leagues - was there matchmaking for that? would you want it - considering you're trying to schedule games and events with people that have a similar enthusiasm? a raid is a similar time investment, if not heavier upfront because most raids run several hours long and even more taxing to communicate in because you're not competing, you're collaborating.

i can understand feeling frustrated. can't be shook about reaching to groups online though

A game of 2k or madden takes like 30 minutes and is usually one on one.

That takes no time to set up.

Destiny is supposed to be this huge massive online community, but the actual social intergration is awful. you can wait in a glorified lobby, chatting with the few people there and visiting vendors, or you can turn the game off and spend time online flipping through destiny resumes from other gamers trying to get some type of structured group together.

shyt is god awful game design.

You missed the entire point of that. I'm not talking about quick games. lol

You spent more time bytching about not being able to find people than actually looking for groups today though. :martin:

I just reached 157

Been trying to finish the two dlc that I missed
I say, get your level up through quests before tripping about the Raids

:manny:

I just did the new Raid for the first time this past week, and that's because I didn't have anybody to play it with. So during that time, I just did the quests and played the Crucible... you will get loot that will make you Raid Ready. I also had like damn near 8 to 10 Exotics to play around with BEFORE I even jumped into the Raid. It's a lot of stuff you can do until you get into the Raids man. Make the most out of it. Get some good gear and level it up, so when the time comes you're ready to wreck shyt.

I ran into your video too.

I was searching the guns that you can order on Youtube to see what my options were, and that Omolon one you put up was the first suggestion. A lot of people probably wanted to see what the guns were before just blindly ordering them, and since you put it out quick, they gravitated to it.

true true. still holding on to the suros scouts from last week to get the roll I seen on mtash's page myself. would be nice to be able to inspect the weapons base stats at least but we all know how Bungie does with in-game information

The next person that tells me to go post on a cac site to find cac friends to get called a ****** by, is getting negged.

How about they let the gamers decide how they wanna play?

I don't use my mic either when cacs are playing so it would be pretty useless to go find a couple cacs to play with.

This game is about as close to a mmo as borderlands is to an rpg game.

This shyt is first a foremost a first person shooter, this isn't a big huge world you can go explore and get lost in with some friends.

You pick a mission, you complete a mission, the mission ends and your sent back to the mission select screen.

Quit making it seem like it's bigger than it really is.

I have friends to play games with, but like me, they have jobs and lives to attend to. And no time to be bothered by destiny's wack game designs
I'm not about to dedicate like the one day out of the month that me and my homies are off together so we can play video games.
:russ:

Im dead after reading this post. Some points I agree with but this game is dope:yeshrug:
