Gear doesn't increase your level any more. At lvl 40 it raises your light(attack&defense avg) that's it.

you just missed the part about me saying i have 3 characters huh? lol....i do it to upgrade things (sub-class, gear, weapons)....
also, since i play differently with each character, each time i play through it is different...

how did you waste runes and not get shyt?...the person that uses the rune to start the court is guaranteed to get something, the ones helping arent....

shyt goes sooooo slow playing alone, I never get drops with good shyt that increases my level, unless that has changed.

It's very dumb that the amount of enemies is the same regardless of player count
If you're still playing vanilla destiny then most people are already past that. Worry about running the older raids later, only if you care enough about grimoir score
Are you doing the bounties and finishing quest lines? Whenever you ready to start ttk and get to lvl ~30 I'll run my Titan or warlock with you through the taken King you can get to lvl 40 quick as hell but the grind to high light lvls is real

i'll just say this about ttk: the main complaints people had about vanilla destiny (lack of content, complicated leveling system, doing the same shyt over and over, etc.), bungie has addressed with ttk...they've added a bunch of shyt, streamlined everything, the game isnt as repetitive cause of the ai adjusting to how you play & switching up the enemies faced/modifiers used, etc....now, whether you like playing it or not is on you, and whatever choice you make is cool since you play games for you....but, if ttk wasnt worth it (hell this goes for destiny itself), this thread wouldnt be as active as it always is....
Hell nah that sword is booty cheeks never seen anybody go on a streak with it the only way that would happen if they made a swords only game mode

i finally used the other pulse i was talking about (hakke herja-d (something close to that), and oh my damn....this gun shoots fast, straight, good range, impact, and very little recoil (the slight recoil goes in an up manner, which is a plus to me cause it means body to head shots)....if i were to compare it to a year 1 gun, i'd compare it to the messenger....in fact, now that i think, it handles just like the messenger, recoil and all....the main difference is that this gun fires faster than the messenger....basically: if you like the messenger, you gonna like this....

I have the high impact one from the Gunmaster, I do straight with it... but it def has a different recoil pattern than anything I've touched in this game thus far
which one you use?...i've been talking about the 2 the gunsmith sold in packages the first week...one is the herja-d and the other one is lymudia-d (something like that)....the lyu (whatever) has a noticeable recoil that goes up and to the left....the one i talked about in that last post, the herja-d, not as much....it really does shoot just like the messenger: the slight recoil is in a straight up manner....
