vendor legendaries and armsday weapons are for the rolls, not the light level values

sure, i could get a 297 rocket launcher in a strike - but is it gonna have the stats of The Vertigo along with guaranteed Javelin + Grenades and Horseshoes? Not likely.

armor is the same way. i don't wear blue gear because i know that he str/int/dis stats won't cap at as high of a number than legendary. focusing on legendary stuff also allows you to direct your builds better as well. i run a lot of nightstalker, so i'm always looking to find the best str/int gear to keep my smoke grenades ready. i prioritize those over the grenades in that class so it only makes sense. for gunslinger, int/dis. golden gun needs to be up as often as possible and the grenades hit way harder.

there's more to it than just hitting 300+ as quick as possible

im not into all that stuff so none of that is important to me im asking if there are better stats one blue drops then whats the point of using legendary marks on for legendary armor im just trying to get to 300 i dont play this serious enough to get deep into all that other stuff you're talkin about...i just wanna get to 300 and get the best weapons i can...and on top of that where the fukk do you get the legendary weapons and exotics from

well you're exactly at where you should be for how serious you want to be in the game then if you want to hit 300 asap then just keep doing what you're doing. playing the game will pretty much get you to 280-290 pretty easily as long as you always have your highest light level equipment on when you cash out at cryptarch or hit a rewards screen.

if you want to go deeper, then you can - and its easy. but otherwise you're basically playing 2k without touching the playbook

legendaries drop pretty regularly in the heroic strike playlist, you get guaranteed from armsday, and i'd say roughly half of the exotics in the game worth giving a fukk about come from quests. those can get kinda rough tho

Tictac i'll be on tomorrow to assist with that Crucible quest if needed. I still have to do the ones that I got from the Quartermeister (completely forgot there are bounties there too).

got a legendary handcannon (Eyasluna) with decent perks after I did Shaxx bounties this week. Its basically Hawkmoon with better stability, with reload and damage perks. It's got outlaw, reactive reload, and Hammer Forged.

That's a great roll on perks. I'd take reactive reload over luck in the chamber without hesitation.

@Jayson_bourn i ended up getting the scout rifle kills in mayhem clash with the Tlaloc since my super charged up quicker. Next is hand cannon kills which should be easy but we can run still tonight

Heard about the Eyasluna and seen it drop in crucible with a far worse roll than yours. You lucked out (don't even ask me how)

This is where I farmed those Void Kills at... literally thousands of kills later I got it done.

If you know a better farming spot, let me know. This is pretty much my go to for Bounties where I have to get a specific number of kills (headshots/supers/Gunmaster gun testing etc)

Why in the hell would you do any quest 3 times?

i do most quests 3 times cause i have 3 characters and i like to get the exp for each....in this case: i was referring to the chaperon quest...i was told false info about it and the blueprint not being available after i completed it for 1 character....which made me think about whether or not i wanted to do it 3 times cause it's annoying....found out last night after i checked out the kiosk, that it is available and i can cop for my other characters, so i'm put that quest on the back burner for my other 2 characters...

Tried for the spindle once then tried for the exotic sword and randoms kept killing the Knights or killing the boss before the Knights

So I had to think a lil bit and come up with a plan on how to dispose of these Knights ASAP with the right elemental damage type. Took a couple of tries, but I got that bytch
