VoG gear was/is ugly as fukk
the titan vog gear looked wayyyy better than the crota gear...
but honestly i dont really care about the gear aas much as the weapons...
trials of osiris could actually make pvp competitive... and combine that with arena... which id honestly rather have than another raid that people can cheese through 50% easily on hard mode.

I would love if Trials of Osiris had no radar and no supers.
How do you feel about heavy ? Alot of guys lately will save their Super until they hear heavy coming then storm the enemy heavy location as soon as it arrives. Lately supers seem to offset heavy in a major way (especially since you can't pick up enemy heavy ammo after a kill)
no super, no radar, no heavy, default special ammo only (no crates), teammate revives, limited map rotation
Yeah these will definitely need to happen. If they'd just give us custom lobbies the e-sports guys would have taken off with this game already and probably will do most of bungie work for them in terms of marketing and finding ways to tweak the game in favor of balance.
I was actually thinking they should probably try and do away with most of the customizable things in destiny if its to be played competitively. Something like "vanguard approved" weapons and gear that have specific perks (or lack of).
to whichever one of you guys recommended the Destiny Item Manager btw. shyt is pretty slick
its coming in comet... which is a different expansion than HoW... its gonna cost $$$
nah this isnt mlg... i think for the default competitive playlist you need radar... if you dont... you're just going to have a bunch of people camping with op shotguns... and a bunch of lesser skilled players feeding them kills...
it will skew pvp completely... just like how inferno is.
this convo started with me talking about trials of osiris, which is still what I was referring to - default playlist I give two shyts about at this point. lesser skilled players probably won't even be there, and no radar promotes voice communication and actual teamwork which would neutralize camping.
Im talking about trials of osiris as well breh... default "competitive" playlist... nobody even plays control, clash etc... they are they equivalent to social slayer in halo...
The only reason anybody takes crucible seriously is when doing iron banner and this will be even more true in the upcoming trials of osiris... i can guarantee that players of all skill levels will be playing trials as its a big part of the expansion... also if you dont have an established group, nobody really uses the ingame chat feature... especially since everyone is already in parties with their friends...
its my personal preference to have radar tho, so maybe im biased.
Vex is 365... new perks.... EVERY legendary armor and weapon can be maxed out.... EVERY legendaries perks can be reforged.... trials of osiris on weekends.... a vendor for endgame gear instead of just getting lucky drops...

I like how you reiterated that like it doesn't just mean regular crucible
. default competitive playlist would be the peer vs peer modes and maps the game shipped with, co-operative would mean pve content like strikes/raids/etc.didn't see the stream and will wait for these youtubers to break it down. I'll play Trials no matter how it is since I try to do everything and obtain everything this game has to offer but if it were up to me for a new "limited time pvp event", I'd really flip crucible around and make it about skill and teamwork. no matchmaking (Trials is 3v3 and probably won't have it), no super, no gear/weapon advantage, and all that other shyt I said.
